OptiPlexus is looking for passionate and experienced professionals for Financial Accountant roles.

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily accounting operations, including maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts and preparing financial statements. The role also includes ensuring compliance with IFRS / US GAAP, conducting financial analysis and supporting audit and reporting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and general ledger accounting, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Bank Reconciliation.
• Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Handle month end adjustment, accruals and entire closing process.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports (MIS) in compliance with IFRS / US GAAP / local regulations.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Prepare financial statements accurately and perform financial analysis.
• Support in External audits in substantive audit procedures, reconciliations and preparing audit schedules.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies like IFRS, US GAAP.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance with strong analytical skills.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and reporting.
• Familiarity with cloud accounting software like QuickBooks, Xerom, Zoho, Odoo etc.
• Experience in reconciliations, financial reporting and MIS reports.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment and Willingness to learn and grow.
