Our mission is simple yet powerful: to bring the world closer to financial independence through cryptocurrency.As we scale rapidly in a highly regulated ecosystem, we’re strengthening our finance and tax function to ensure strong financial controls, tax compliance, transparency, and operational excellence.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Finance & Tax Manager with 4–6 years of experience to manage end-to-end finance operations along with direct and indirect tax compliance. This role will work closely with leadership, compliance, and external partners to ensure accurate financial reporting, tax readiness, and regulatory compliance in a fast-moving fintech/crypto environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinance Operations & Reporting
- Manage day-to-day finance operations including accounting, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closures.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data for management reporting.
- Track expenses, cash flows, and ensure optimal fund utilisation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to leadership to support decision-making.
- Manage vendor payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.
- Coordinate with banks, payment service providers, and external consultants.
- Ensure timely settlements and financial compliance with partners.
Tax Compliance & Management
- Manage end-to-end direct and indirect tax compliance, including Income Tax, GST, TDS/TCS, and other applicable statutory taxes.
- Ensure timely tax filings, payments, reconciliations, and maintenance of tax workings and documentation.
- Handle GST reconciliations, TDS vs books matching, and tax provisions.
- Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and authorities for assessments, audits, and notices.
- Support tax-related reviews and disclosures for financial statements.
Compliance, Audit & Regulatory Support
- Support compliance and regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate financial and tax records, documentation, and audit trails.
- Coordinate with compliance teams on financial and tax data required for FIU India, PMLA reporting, audits, and regulator queries.
- Assist in responding to information requests from regulators, auditors, banks, and payment partners.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and explanations.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions post audit findings.
Controls, Risk & Process Improvement
- Help strengthen internal financial and tax controls and identify gaps or risks.
- Maintain and update finance and tax SOPs and documentation.
- Help streamline finance and tax processes and improve reporting efficiency.
- Support implementation and optimisation of finance tools, systems, and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience across finance, accounting, tax, or audit roles (fintech, BFSI, crypto, or startup experience preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- CA / CA-Inter / MBA (Finance) preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and direct & indirect tax compliance.
- Experience working with audits, regulatory reporting, and compliance teams.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP tools.
