Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Finance Planning & Analysis Lead at SmartFin Consulting in Bengaluru. The person will be responsible for financial analysis, MIS reporting, budgeting and forecasting, pricing, etc for our clients. The role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports and financial statements, communicating insights to stakeholders, and ensuring accurate and timely financial planning and analysis activities.

Detailed Role Description:

· Management reporting covering analysis on monthly performance, operating and financial metrics, etc

· Ability to prepare and analyse financial statements

· Preparation of forecast for six months on a rolling basis

· Preparation of forecasted financial statements

· Annual Budgeting, goal setting, investment planning

· Benchmarking studies and competition analysis across the industry

· Cost Control & margin management: To provide analysis on cost items variation, monitor & track cost rationalization plan

· Support various adhoc analysis requirements – revenue analytics, project profitability, analysis for management review meetings, etc

· Contract compliance & Risk management: vetting of project PO/Statement of work from commercial perspective

· Participate and present in management review meetings

· Work with management and external stakeholders to enhance automation of finance and related processes

Skills and Qualifications

• BCom mandatory,
  CWA/CMA/CFA/CA/MBA Finance is a plus
• Experience in financial planning and analysis
• Prior similar experience in IT industry is mandatory
• Knowledge of financial metrics and levers of IT industry
• Proficiency in Financial Statements and Accounting
• Excellent analytical and decision support skills
• Strong communication and articulation skills
• Ability to work with large data sets
• Excellent Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Bias for action, strong work ethic, and desire to achieve excellence
• Self-motivated and ability to work without supervision
• Ability to work in a dynamic unstructured environment and to turn around things quickly
