Position Overview: We are seeking a Finance Intern to join our fast-growing team at BusinessOnBot. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations while contributing to the day-to-day functioning of our finance department. You will work closely with the finance team on activities such as bookkeeping, reconciliations, financial reporting, invoicing, and compliance support.

This internship is designed to provide practical exposure to financial processes within a high-growth startup environment, helping you build a strong foundation in accounting, financial analysis, and business operations. High-performing interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities with us.

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Work closely with the accounting manager to understand our company’s accounting practices
• Work on assisting in the collection and preparation of monthly financial reports
• Work on communicating with the accounts payable manager & accounts receivable manager to track pending invoices
• Work on performing administrative duties such as preparing invoices and updating accounting files
• Work on maintaining the journal and general ledger entries
• Work on undertaking data entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Work on maintaining accurate and detailed inventory records
• Work on assisting in filing IT returns
• Work on cross-checking and verifying financial documents

Requirements:

• Someone willing to work in the office for 6 months of duration
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Good to have a familiarity with accounting software like Chargebee
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good multitasking & organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Highly motivated and reliable individual
• Should be detail-oriented & be able to conduct in-depth research

Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, they will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 15000 fixed + ₹ 10000 variable)

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
