We are a rapidly expanding startup in the student housing and hospitality sector, currently managing 2,500 beds and projected to scale to 4,000 beds by December 2025. Our mission is to create a seamless and efficient living experience for students and professionals across India.

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial health, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and provide strategic insights for business growth. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of finance operations, and experience in managing multi-site financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end finance operations including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and reporting.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, P&L, and balance sheet reporting across multiple properties.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory laws (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
• Supervise accounts team and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Evaluate financial performance and recommend cost optimization strategies.
• Monitor vendor payments, reimbursements, and expense control systems.
• Work closely with management to support strategic planning and expansion.
• Implement and maintain financial controls, SOPs, and internal audit systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (CA/ICWA preferred).
• 5–10 years of experience in finance management (preferably in hospitality, real estate, or startup sectors).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial planning, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
