Accounting/Finance Associate

Responsibilities

• Review and approve employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Assist with reviewing and processing accounts payable vouchers and vendor maintenance.
• Aid in reconciling bank statements and cash balances accurately.
• Assist with month-end close activities as assigned, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Verify that transactions align with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support scaling initiatives by managing large transaction volumes efficiently.
• Perform ad-hoc projects and tasks to support the finance team as needed.
  

Work Hours

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 2 years of prior experience working with a U.S.-based company.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in general ledger accounting preferred.
• Experience processing transactions in AEC industry preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems; ability to learn Deltek Vantagepoint.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with a stable internet connection.
