About This Role
As a Technical Manager, you will lead a team of technical support resources, reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Digital Operations. You will help manage global technical support for PMIS applications, ensuring seamless customer service and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on mentoring and developing team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily activities of a global team of technical PMIS resources.
- Focus on consistency and thoroughness in your work and the work of your team.
- Ensure timely and accurate ticket handling and documentation.
- Collaborate with other technical managers to coordinate resources and ensure client satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary customer liaison for designated customers and as a backup for others.
- Guide team members in setting and achieving quarterly and annual goals.
- Provide reports and statistics to the VP, highlighting key KPIs and performance metrics.
- Support team members in meeting and exceeding KPIs and performance measures.
- Assist the team by resolving standard tickets as needed, but also serve as the escalation point for complex or challenging tickets.
- Be available for emergency situations on Sundays for Saudi customers, with compensation provided through time off on a standard workday.
- Escalate potential issues to the VP, providing clear history and suggested resolutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, technology, education, or a relevant field.
- 2-3 years of experience in technical support for a PMIS application, preferably Primavera Unifier.
- 2-3 years of experience managing a team of technical resources.
- Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Strong multitasking and project management abilities.
- Dynamic, positive personality, comfortable in a fluid, ever-changing environment.
- Goal-oriented, self-directed, and motivated, requiring minimal oversight.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Additional Requirements
- Must be available for emergency situations that may arise on Sundays.
