Support Data Integration & Analytics Specialist

Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Support Data Integration and Analytics Specialist to provide ongoing support for data integration processes, reporting, and analytics platforms. This role primarily focuses on maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing existing data solutions to ensure seamless business operations.

In addition, this position offers the opportunity to collaborate on automation initiatives, AI-driven analytics, and solution enhancement projects aimed at improving efficiency, data accuracy, and insight delivery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical acumen, a proactive approach to issue resolution, and a keen interest in leveraging emerging technologies to optimize data workflows and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Create and maintain stored procedures, functions, and complex SQL logic to support reporting and data integration needs.
• Provide production support for scheduled jobs, report refresh failures, and integration issues.
• Build and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards, including DAX measures, calculated columns, and data model relationships.
• Perform data transformations using Power Query, including merging/splitting, pivoting/unpivoting, grouping, and applying custom formulas.
• Develop and test API integrations (REST and SOAP), using tools such as Postman for validation and troubleshooting.
• Parse and work with JSON and XML data structures for integration and reporting purposes.
• Develop ETL workflows into target systems or data warehouses.
• Apply knowledge of data warehousing concepts, such as star and snowflake schema designs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical details, and deliver actionable insights

Required Skills And Qualifications

• 24 years of hands-on experience in data integration, ETL, and business intelligence support.
• Strong understanding of SQL syntax and the ability to write complex queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• Solid understanding of ETL processes.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Power BI, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and report publishing.
• Working knowledge of APIs (REST/SOAP) and tools like Postman.
• Knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice To Have

• Exposure to construction project management tools such as Primavera Unifier, Aconex, etc.
• Experience writing scripts and performing light backend tasks using Python.
• Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Node.js, and GenAI.
• Understanding of how to build and consume RESTful APIs, as well as RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
