Job Title: Finance Assistant Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Finance Assistant Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for a finance professional with strong expertise in financial operations, reporting, and compliance, and someone who thrives in a dynamic startup environment.

You will play a key role in shaping the organization’s financial strategy, managing daily financial operations, and ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement financial strategies, policies, and processes to support organizational goals.
  • Manage day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve resource efficiency.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, management reports, and analysis to senior leadership.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure the organization’s financial health.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data accuracy.
  • Coordinate external audits, tax filings, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations, accounting practices (GAAP), and industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to support decision-making and operational efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial management or accounting roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. (Master’s degree or CA/CPA preferred.)
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, compliance regulations, and GAAP.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial statements, KPIs, and financial ratios.
  • Experience in cash flow and working capital management.
  • Skilled in MS Excel and financial tools/software for reporting and analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Experience in legal, financial services, or insurance sectors is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
