The Role:
To support the UK FD with managing the UK revenue and staff costs across the business to ensure revenue movements are mirrored at a staff cost level and teams are resourced in the most cost-effective way. The role will include overseeing revenue and staff cost reporting and forecasting, including supporting WPP reporting requirements at month end and quarterly forecasts.
Responsibilities:
- To administer, upgrade and support Hogarth’s Maconomy installation
- Manage Finance Systems helpdesk to ensure tickets are responded to and prioritized within SLA targets
- Managing job closure, chasing outstanding items that prevent a job being closed such as timesheets, open POs
- Run ad-hoc reports as and when required
- Work closely with the Billings, AP and SOX teams to help solve system issues
- Month-End reporting for Finance using Power Bi reporting tool.
- Organizing training sessions for colleagues
- Managing basic user administration: creation and deactivation of user accounts in response to Joiners/Leavers workflow requests
- Planning for any Finance System upgrades and User Acceptance Testing
- Work on forecast and actuals reporting.
- Prepare and consolidate monthly revenue and quarterly forecast files for WPP submission as well as internal stakeholders.
- Oversee client profitability reporting
- Prepare the revenue analysis at month end.
- Work closely with the HR/client teams on any joiners, movers and leavers, Monitor/track charges from global delivery hubs
- Work closely with the revenue team to track revenue vs forecast, working with the teams to provide commentary on the variances.
- Review/analysis of timesheet data for utilization and capacity purposes

Requirements:
- Finance background
- Prior experience in Finance Systems
- Prior experience in the use of Maconomy would be desirable, but not essential
- Prior experience in the use of Power BI would be desirable, but not essential
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and quickly assess issues that may become major incidents
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and other MS office tools
