The Field Trainer will support the organisation by strengthening the field team’s capacity across mobilisation, centre management, livelihood linkages and data processes. Around 75% of the role will focus on on-ground training and handholding of field teams. The remaining time will be spent delivering structured training sessions using material provided by the Head Office Training Team.
The trainer will play a key role in helping new staff settle into their roles and in coaching underperforming staff to meet expected performance levels.
•Train field staff on mobilization techniques, community engagement, and reaching target beneficiaries.
•Guide staff on relationship management with key village stakeholders, influencers, and partners.
•Provide practical training on centre set-up, centre management, documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
•Support teams in building a local livelihood ecosystem by connecting with employers, skill partners, contractors, and market linkages.
•Monitor field activities, identify gaps, and provide immediate coaching to improve performance.
•Track field-level processes and ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with organisational systems.
•Conduct regular field visits to mentor staff and ensure implementation of standard operating procedures.
•Deliver structured training sessions using HO-developed training content, toolkits, and materials.
•Conduct refresher workshops for existing field staff and induction sessions for new employees.
•Provide one-on-one support to staff who need performance improvement.
•Coordinate with HO Training Team for updates, feedback, and customisation needs.
•5–6 years of experience in livelihood, skilling, community mobilisation, or NGO field operations.
•Strong understanding of rural mobilisation, community networks, and livelihood value chains.
•System-driven approach with good command over field documentation and data processes.
•Strong communication skills in local language(s) and Hindi; ability to train and mentor adults.
•Experience in coaching, on-ground handholding, or field support roles.
•Ability to travel extensively within assigned clusters.
