About the Role


Field Manager is the in-charge of the diagnostics systems installation across India. Required to work along with Regional Managers, Field Engineers, Contractors, Partners. He is responsible for overseeing the installation of diagnostic systems across India, ensuring compliance with installation guidelines and managing day-to-day operations.



Responsibilities



  • Ensuring that all the systems are installed as per the installation drawing & guidelines.
  • Involving and managing day-to-day operations.
  • Planning breakdown and preventive maintenance schedule of the installed machines along with field engineers.
  • Ensuring smooth billing and payment collection as per the contract with the customer.
  • Planning and tracking of budgets and expenditure.
  • Travelling and conducting periodic inspection at the site locations.
  • Complaint management.
  • Writing official letters, joint notes, project reports, inspection reports etc.
  • Managing product, equipment & tools inventory.
  • Maintaining records of maintenance and managing dashboard.
  • Coordinate with customer during inspections.
  • Sending periodic report to management about the condition of the machines.
  • Managing all personnel in the maintenance team, delegating tasks, checking progress and assessing individual performance.
  • Ensure employee health and safety is being followed on day-to-day basis.


Qualifications



  • Degree/Diploma (Mechanical / Mechatronics/Electrical-Electronics).
  • 7+ year working experience.


Required Skills



  • Railway Industry Knowledge and Experience.
  • Leadership skills - Preferable experience in managing a team size of 15~20 members.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effectively communicate the issues to engineering team for root-cause analysis.
  • Communication skills - Professional level in English & Hindi.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Knowledge on Failure mode and effects analysis and Meantime Between Failure analysis.
  • Organization and planning skills - Preferable hand-on experience in Project Management/Tracking tools like MS Projects, Zoho-Projects, Open Libre-Project etc.
  • Able to create checklist, templates, documents in MS-word and Excel.
  • Experience in implementing best housekeeping practices like 5-S in the workplace.
