About the Role

The Field Engineer- is required to supervise and organize daily work on railway site. They are in control of all support operations, including troubleshooting, repair, cost estimate and management, hiring & managing local work force. He may require to team up with other professionals like sub contractors, consultants and client’s representatives in order to make sure that the job is completed within budget and on time.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of equipment at remote locations.
• Preventive and breakdown maintenance of equipment installed at remote locations.
• Write commissioning & service reports.
• Visiting sites across country (would require to travel frequently).
• Maintain clear communication with office & customer.
• Hire & work with local work force.

Qualifications

• ITI/B.E/Diploma (E.E.E / E.C.E / E&I / I&C / Mechatronics).
• 2+ year working experience.

Required Skills

• Should have knowledge in basic electrical and electronics.
• Should be able to work in remote location and willingness to travel.
• Having awareness of safety and health issues.
• Good Communication skills in Hindi or English.
• Site supervision and contract management.
