Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of restaurants, bars, banquets, catering, and in-room dining.
  • Implement and monitor MFPL’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for F&B service.
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and service across all outlets.

Financial & Business Management

  • Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and revenue forecasts for the F&B department.
  • Drive profitability through innovative promotions, events, and upselling strategies.
  • Monitor purchasing, stock levels, and wastage to optimize costs.

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and mentor F&B staff in line with MFPL standards.
  • Create staff schedules to ensure efficient service operations.
  • Motivate the team, build a culture of service excellence, and manage performance.

Guest Service Excellence

  • Ensure personalized and memorable guest experiences at all touchpoints.
  • Address guest queries and complaints promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Build long-term relationships with guests to encourage loyalty and repeat visits.

Compliance & Standards

  • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and liquor regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to maintain MFPL’s service and cleanliness standards.
  • Uphold health & safety practices in all areas of food and beverage service.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive experience in Food & Beverage, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B trends, guest preferences, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenues.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office applications.
