Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food and Beverages Manager to oversee the daily operations of our food and beverage department. The ideal candidate will ensure that all aspects of food and drink services are running smoothly, providing an exceptional experience to guests while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety. The Food and Beverages Manager will lead a team of staff, manage inventory, control budgets, and work closely with other departments to ensure the operational success of the food and beverage services. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring the highest levels of service and quality. Manage day-to-day activities of the restaurant, bar, catering, or room service operations. Ensure that all services meet the expectations and standards of the business and guests. Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate food and beverage staff to deliver excellent customer service. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities. Schedule and manage staff, ensuring proper staffing levels during peak times. Financial Management: Develop and manage the food and beverage department budget, ensuring cost control and maximizing profitability. Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure appropriate stock levels. Track food and beverage costs, labor costs, and sales to ensure budget compliance. Customer Service: Ensure an exceptional guest experience by resolving customer complaints and maintaining a high level of satisfaction. Implement customer service training and ensure adherence to service standards. Actively seek feedback from guests to improve the overall dining experience. Quality Control & Compliance: Maintain health and safety regulations, including food safety standards, alcohol laws, and hygiene practices. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of kitchen, dining areas, and bars. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Menu Development and Innovation: Collaborate with the culinary team to create, update, and improve the menu offerings based on guest preferences and trends. Monitor guest preferences and industry trends to recommend new food and beverage options. Develop and implement special promotions or events to increase revenue. Marketing & Promotion: Work with the marketing team to promote the food and beverage services. Develop pricing strategies and promotional activities to increase sales and attract new customers. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience in a food and beverage management role, ideally 3-5 years or more. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Solid knowledge of food and beverage trends, inventory management, and budgeting. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
