Factory Manager

An Ice Cream Factory Manager oversees all daily operations, leading teams to meet production goals while ensuring quality, safety (HACCP/GMP), and cost efficiency, managing inventory, maintenance, scheduling, staff training, and implementing continuous improvements in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Key duties include production planning, quality control, inventory management, equipment upkeep, staff supervision, and reporting to upper management, focusing heavily on sanitation and food safety standards. Key Responsibilities

• Production Oversight: Plan, direct, and coordinate daily ice cream/frozen dessert manufacturing, ensuring targets are met efficiently and within budget.
• Quality & Safety: Enforce strict food safety (GMP, HACCP) and quality control standards, monitor product quality, and maintain high sanitation levels.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate production staff, fostering an empowered and autonomous work culture.
• Inventory & Supply Chain: Manage raw material (dairy, sugar, flavors) and packaging inventory, optimize vendor relations, and oversee incoming orders.
• Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all production machinery (freezers, fillers, packaging).
• Cost & Efficiency: Identify cost gaps, optimize labor & equipment usage, and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and reduce waste.
• Reporting & Strategy: Prepare production reports, suggest process improvements (R&D), and contribute to overall business strategy and planning.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in dairy, food processing, or beverage manufacturing is crucial.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and complex operations.
• Often requires a degree in Dairy Science, Food Technology, or related field.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
