Security Officer

Security officers protect property, people, and assets by patrolling, monitoring surveillance, controlling access, responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, and documenting incidents, acting as a visible deterrent and first responder to maintain a safe, orderly environment. Their core duties involve proactive observation, managing entry/exit points, handling alarms, and providing assistance while maintaining professional conduct and reporting all activities accurately. Core Responsibilities:

• Patrolling & Observation: Conduct regular interior/exterior patrols, check doors/windows, identify risks, and watch for suspicious activity.
• Access Control: Verify IDs, manage visitor logs, issue badges, and control entry to restricted areas.
• Surveillance: Operate CCTV, alarm systems, and other monitoring equipment, responding to alerts.
• Emergency Response: Act as first responders to alarms, medical issues, fires, or disturbances; coordinate with law enforcement/EMS.
• Reporting & Documentation: Write detailed incident reports, daily logs, and activity summaries.
• Rule Enforcement: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and deter theft/unlawful acts.
• Customer Service: Assist employees, visitors, and clients with directions or concerns.

Key Duties & Tasks:

• Securing premises after hours.
• Responding to and de-escalating conflicts.
• Assisting with evacuations during emergencies.
• Providing security guidance and training (sometimes).
• Detaining trespassers according to law.

Essential Skills:

• Strong observation & attention to detail.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Knowledge of security procedures, first aid, and self-defense.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
