Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Factory General Manager to lead our production operations. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership qualities, and a successful track record in managing end-to-end manufacturing processes in the HVAC or refrigeration sector. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee day-to-day production operations ensuring timely and high-quality output.- Develop and manage production schedules to meet delivery timelines and client expectations.- Supervise and coordinate with production teams, technicians, and line managers.- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and quality standards.- Identify and resolve operational challenges while driving continuous process improvements.- Monitor raw material and inventory levels; coordinate with procurement and logistics teams.- Generate production reports and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).- Lead lean manufacturing and waste reduction initiatives.- Ensure timely maintenance and proper functioning of machinery and factory infrastructure. Qualifications & Requirements:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or relevant).- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a production/factory management role, preferably in HVAC or refrigeration.- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.- Sound knowledge of manufacturing operations including metal fabrication, welding, and assembly.- Familiarity with quality systems, safety compliance, and ISO standards.- Proficient in MS Office and ERP/MRP production software.- Analytical and organized, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.- Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma (preferred).- Experience in scaling production and implementing automation is a plus.- Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies.
