Facilities Manager

Role Overview: As a CBRE Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings. You will manage a team and provide support to Property Managers regarding repairs and investment plans. Key Responsibilities: - Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee recruiting and hiring. - Schedule and manage the team's daily activities, assign tasks, establish work schedules, and track deadlines. Mentor and coach staff as needed. - Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. - Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues, and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. - Perform facility inspections for quality assurance, suggest operational efficiencies, and manage environmental health and safety procedures. - Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures, review price quotes for procurement, and conduct process and procedure training. - Lead by example, model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values, and influence parties to reach agreements. - Apply knowledge of own discipline to achieve team and departmental objectives, troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred. - Experience in staffing, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluation preferred. - Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information, convey performance expectations, and demonstrate leadership skills to motivate team impact. - Strong organizational skills, an inquisitive mindset, and advanced math skills for financial calculations.
