Postion Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Assistant to support the financial operations of our India office. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting, working closely with our Finance Manager (UK) and local operations team. Key Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable and receivable , including processing invoices and payments. Support monthly payroll administration , ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain accurate financial records and carry out routine bookkeeping tasks. Prepare and reconcile bank statements and petty cash accounts. Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports . Support budget monitoring and tracking of expenditure. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and other stakeholders as required. Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and relevant regulations. Education & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent). Professional certifications such as CA-Inter / ICWA / Diploma in Accounting are an advantage. Experience & Skills 1–3 years of experience in accounting, payroll, or finance administration. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel. Experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or accounts administration. Strong numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail. Excellent organisational and time-management skills. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels. Integrity, reliability, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
