About the Role
GSY Imports and Exports group are on a lookout for a highly experience and detail-oriented Sales Manager to lead the operations for our Rice & Agro Commodities Division. The ideal candidate will have deep international and export market knowledge, strong client base, Negotiating skills and the ability to manage global clients aligned with GSY’s global trading standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and onboard new international clients in the global market particularly for Rice and other Agro commodity products.
Negotiate prices, payment terms,contracts with buyer and maintain long-term client relationship.
Monitor vendor performance for quality, delivery, and consistency.
Ensure all sales practices meet company sustainability and export standards.
Participate in International trade fairs, exhibitions, Conferences and all other Agro commodity trades to keep update about recent market trends.
Work closely with logistics, finance, and export departments for smooth operations.
Oversee purchase orders, invoices, and LC documentation.
Maintain detailed records of purchases, pricing, and stock reports.
Key Skills
5-7 years of export sales in global markets.
Strong knowledge of rice and agro commodity markets across Global and India Markets.
Excellent negotiation, customer relationship, and communication skills.
Understanding of export-import processes and logistics coordination.
Willingness to travel internationally for business visits.
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
Strong leadership and analytical skills.
Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Tamil is an advantage.
