Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Export & Import Manager to handle international trade operations in the tyre industry. The role involves managing end-to-end export and import processes, ensuring compliance with global trade regulations, coordinating with logistics partners, and supporting business growth in international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Export Management:

  • Prepare and manage export documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, etc.).
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and clearing agents for timely dispatch.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations, trade laws, and customer requirements.
  • Monitor export shipments and update stakeholders on status.
  • Handle customer queries regarding shipments and documentation.

Import Management:

  • Manage import documentation and liaise with customs for clearance of tyres and raw materials.
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations, tariffs, and duties.
  • Negotiate freight and shipping costs to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Track inbound shipments and coordinate delivery to warehouses or plants.

Logistics & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and sales teams for smooth operations.
  • Monitor freight movements, resolve delays, and escalate issues when required.
  • Maintain updated records of all import/export activities.
  • Liaise with insurance companies for claims in case of shipment damage or loss.

Compliance & Reporting:

  • Stay updated on international trade laws and customs regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Prepare MIS reports on imports, exports, shipping costs, and duty structures.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of export and import documentation and customs clearance.
  • Familiarity with international trade regulations.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Problem-solving and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • 3–10 years of experience in export/import operations (preferably in the tyre, automotive, or manufacturing industry).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
