As an Export Import Logistic Manager at Shhivtek Industries Private Limited located in DLF Corporate Green Sector 74 A, Gurgaon, your role involves developing and implementing logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. This includes negotiating rates with forwarders, mapping market rates, and obtaining internal approvals. Your responsibilities will also include: - Having export logistics knowledge on freight and setting up a network of FF/CHAs at source and destination, specifically in Air & Sea. - Experience in pricing strategies for sea export shipments. - Booking spaces for goods on trains, ships, and planes, and planning the most suitable mode of transport and route. - Maintaining and regularly updating a pricing history database. - Working out the details of transport and insurance costs. - Preparing quotes, invoices, and all necessary licenses and paperwork. - Good exposure to negotiation with shipping lines and freight forwarders/CHAs. - Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures. - Liaising with shipping/airlines and manufacturing on cargo/consolidation movements. - Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, suppliers, and customers.
