Export Executive

As a key member of our export team at a leading manufacturing export company, you will be responsible for managing the complete export cycle. This includes overseeing order processing, documentation, customs clearance, and shipment tracking to ensure seamless cross-border deliveries from our cutting-edge facilities in India. Your role will involve close coordination with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to optimize transit times and costs. Your day-to-day tasks will also include preparing and reviewing export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. It will be crucial to ensure compliance with international trade regulations, Incoterms, and country-specific import/export requirements. Building and nurturing strong relationships with overseas clients will be a key aspect of your responsibilities, involving resolving inquiries and negotiating delivery terms effectively. To excel in this role, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 2-4 years of hands-on experience in export operations within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Incoterms, export documentation, and customs procedures is essential, along with familiarity with ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office applications like Excel, Word, and Outlook. Your strong communication and negotiation skills will be valuable assets in engaging with international stakeholders. While not mandatory, experience working with freight forwarders and global logistics providers is preferred. Knowledge of export compliance standards such as ITAR, EAR, and electronic data interchange (EDI) would also be advantageous. A proven track record of enhancing export processes to reduce costs and lead times will further strengthen your candidacy for this role.
