Role & responsibilities Food Testing Laboratory Sales and Marketing Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive sales and marketing strategies for building and growing the business in line with the long-term strategic plans Contribute to the overall business strategy and long-term business planning by providing critical market insights and supporting strategic decision-making. Formulate tactical and operational plans at both corporate and regional levels to ensure holistic business growth. Develop and manage sales/marketing operating budgets in discussion with the Leadership team and the Regional Heads Sales Management: Continuously monitor and track sales and business performance across regions and drive performance culture sales target achievement. Support the Regional Heads in driving the sales numbers. Support Regional Heads on Customer enquiries, conducting customer meetings. Work closely with Regional Heads and Leadership team to assess and identify business opportunities Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities through multiple mediums. Oversee sales efforts of the regional team and guide them in achieving the desired objectives Put in place robust sales systems and processes to enable tracking of sales performance and key metrics Develop and nurture strong relationships with key customers. Regularly engage with them to ensure prompt resolution of queries and complaints. Implement customer service guidelines for a seamless customer experience Develop appropriate Sales metrics and analysis to track performance and market opportunities Perform a variety of sales and customer analytics and utilize the same for adapting sales plans for optimal results. Develop a robust Sales information system and provide regular reports to key stakeholders Marketing Management: Oversee marketing activities, guiding the marketing team to ensure alignment with business goals. Develop and implement comprehensive customer engagement plans for best-in-class service. Ensure the Corporate website is well-developed, maintained, and updated regularly. Develop digital marketing plans that align with the business needs in the long run Ensure adherence to marketing budgets and timelines. Team Management Provide leadership and direction to the sales and marketing teams Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, regularly assess team performance against set targets and objectives Build a competent team with relevant knowledge and skills. Implement training programs to enhance team skills and capabilities
