Position: Executive - Payroll, Compliance & HR Operations
Location: 509, Venus Atlantis, Prahladnagar, Ahmedabad, Gujarat - 380051
Shift Time: 6:30 PM To 3:30 AM IST (US Shift)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Executive / Senior Executive to manage Payroll & Compliance along with supporting HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Activities. This role is ideal for someone who has strong knowledge of statutory regulations and payroll processing, with added ability to support HR operational excellence including onboarding and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Payroll & Compliance:
Payroll Management:
  • Process monthly payroll with accuracy, including salary inputs, statutory deductions, ad-hoc payments, and reimbursements.
  • Manage Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
  • Assist in verification of payroll data with finance team and CA for timely salary disbursement.
  • Generate and distribute payslips and resolve payroll-related queries.

Statutory Compliance:
  • Handle timely payment and filing of PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, and other applicable labor laws.
  • Maintain compliance calendars and ensure adherence to statutory timelines.
  • Coordinate for Shop & Establishment license, labor registrations, and renewal processes.
  • Assist during internal/external audits, inspections, and ensure documentation readiness.
  • Stay updated with changes in labor laws and regulations (e.g., Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Gratuity Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Maternity Benefit Act, etc.) and ensure the company's compliance.
  • Coordinate with agency for NAPS & NATS contract generation, data management and payment processing.
2. HR Operations & Generalist Activities:
Induction & Onboarding:
  • Take care of joining formalities, letters issuance, documentation, and background verification.
  • Conduct employee induction/orientation sessions to onboard new hires.
  • Update employee records in HRMS and maintain personnel files.
HR Operations:
  • Maintain and update HR databases, trackers, and employee files.
  • Assist in preparing MIS reports, HR dashboards, and payroll input sheets.
  • Support attendance, leave data, and shift management coordination.
  • Coordinate exit formalities including resignation acceptance, documentation, and feedback collection.
Employee Engagement & Communication:
  • Support the execution of employee engagement initiatives, celebrations, and internal communication.
  • Conduct pulse check-ins and coordinate employee feedback mechanisms.
  • Assist in organizing training sessions, team events, and HR communication drives.
Policy Implementation:
  • Support the HR team in the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures, ensuring employees understand guidelines related to compensation, benefits, and compliance.
Grievance Handling:
  • Professionally address and resolve employee grievances or concerns related to payroll, deductions, or compliance matters, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
