Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Maintain harmonious relations with workers and unions
Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (e.g., PF, ESI, Factory Act)
Support disciplinary actions and documentation
Coordinate with legal and compliance teams for audits and inspections
Facilitate communication between management and workers

Monitor workforce deployment and schedules
Assist in contract labor management and vendor coordination
Support health, safety, and welfare initiatives
Organize employee engagement and welfare programs

Human Resources Operations

Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and induction of plant employees
Maintain employee records and update HR systems regularly
Support payroll inputs, attendance, and leave management
Coordinate training and development activities for plant staff
Handle employee grievances

Prepare HR and IR MIS reports
Maintain records for statutory compliance and audits
Submit timely reports to corporate HR and government authorities

Preferred candidate profile

Postgraduate in HR, Industrial Relations, or related field
4 to 7 years of experience in HR & IR roles, preferably in a manufacturing setup
Experience in handling union interactions and statutory compliance is preferred

Required Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of labor laws and IR practices
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to handle employee grievances and conflict resolution
Familiarity with HRIS/ERP systems
Attention to detail and documentation skills
