Finance Executive

to assist and support our Finance team in managing daily financial operations, maintaining records, and ensuring accuracy across all finance-related activities.

Location - Bhopal Head Office

Job Overview

The Finance Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring timely reconciliations, and supporting overall financial operations. The role demands attention to detail, strong analytical ability, and proficiency in accounting tools and Excel.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Accounting & Bookkeeping:
Maintain and update all financial records accurately in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).
Record all journal entries, including purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and adjustment entries.Ensure all entries are posted with proper narration and supported by valid documentation.Handle petty cash accounting and maintain proper records.
  • Bank & Ledger Management:
Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly.
Track and reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.Monitor fund flow and cash flow on a day-to-day basis.
  • Vendor & Employee Payments:
Process vendor invoices, verify bills, and ensure timely payment.
Coordinate with vendors for any discrepancies in invoices or payments.Handle employee reimbursements, advance settlements, and other expense claims.
  • Taxation & Compliance (Basic):
Support the finance team in GST data preparation, TDS working, and filing assistance.
Maintain documentation required for statutory audits and internal compliance.Assist in responding to auditors with relevant supporting documents.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Prepare MIS reports and summaries as required by management.Analyze expenses, variances, and provide inputs for cost control.
  • Excel & Data Management:
Maintain and update data in Excel sheets for various financial activities.
Use formulas such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Conditional Formatting for reporting.Prepare trackers for advances, reimbursements, vendor payments, and employee deductions.
  • Coordination & Communication:
Coordinate with internal departments for invoice verification, approvals, and clarifications.Liaise with banks, vendors, and auditors as and when required.Support HR and Operations in financial-related tasks (such as payroll inputs or advance deductions).

Key Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of

Tally ERP / accounting software

.Good command over

Microsoft Excel

(formulas, pivot tables, reports).Basic understanding of

GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances

.Excellent

attention to detail

and

accuracy in data entry

.Strong

analytical and problem-solving skills

.Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
