About This Role Job Description Acts as on-site support for Air India in Flight Service organizations. Supporting Crew Management software solutions and gradually learn to support more CAE products such as Movement Manager. Responsible for analyzing, replicating, and resolving application issues at multiple layers (application, environment, database, networking) by using advanced technical diagnostics tools. Provides support to both, application front and back-end, as well as recommend best business practices to customers on the application usability and system maintenance. Acts as a liaison with multiple teams across the organization, including Development, Delivery, Product, and Account Teams, ensuring issues get the proper level of attention and prioritization for customer resolution on maintenance issues/service requests. May include remote On-Call work on a 24x7 basis for critical and high-priority issues in the future (additional On-Call allowance will be provided). Decisions and actions have an impact on the success of a team or department. May provide training to other colleagues and new hires in the future. Other potential engagements in other work areas within the company. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above. An analytical and troubleshooting mindset is a requirement. Previous Customer Support experience (3-5 years) Windows/Unix(Solaris)/AWS usage familiarity is required. Knowledge and expertise in PL/SQL, RDBMS, UNIX shell script, and Windows operation systems are strongly desired. C++ and JAVA coding background is a plus. Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written). Must be organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize daily workload. Airline background is a plus. About This Role No. of positions : 4 (B1/B3 – 3 & B2 – 1) Desired Qualification & Skills : AME license DA 40 / DA 42 Endorsement Good Communication skills in English (verbal & written) Ability to multi-task Computer knowledge preferred Work Experience : 5-6 years of relevant AME experience in Maintenance/Engineering dept. (FTO experience preferred). SUMMARY OF THE JOB AME is responsible to keep the Aircraft in an airworthy condition before release. Regular Maintenance, Scheduled Maintenance and snag rectification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : To carry out the maintenance work as per the call out issued by the CAMO dept. To issue CRS after carrying out any maintenance of the aircraft. To carry out the snag rectification for observed and reported snags. To carry out compliance of SB. AD, SI etc. To give work guidelines to supporting staff. To supervise task performed by aircraft maintenance technicians. To train the technicians for carrying out maintenance schedules. To provide requisition/place order to the store dept for procuring the spares as needed. And monitoring of alert list provided by CAMO Dept. To verify the spares that are issued to the aircraft while carrying out maintenance. Any other duties as may be assigned.
