As the Assistant Flight Safety Officer (FSO) at CAE, you will be the representative of the safety department and carry out tasks assigned by the Safety Manager (SM) or FSO. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting daily safety oversight of Air Traffic Control (ATC), Operations (Ops), and Maintenance (Mx) departments. - Analyzing Flight Data Recorder (FDR) data, collaborating with the FDR data analyst, monitoring the data, and compiling monthly trend reports. You will also inform the safety manager of any adverse trends identified. - Conducting initial assessment of all safety reports and debriefing all personnel involved. - Performing spot checks of documentation and procedural compliance in ATC and Ops. - Assisting the SM in incident investigations and preparing follow-up reports. - Monitoring the site Breathalyser testing program daily and serving as the single point of contact for resolving equipment and documentation issues.
