Simulator Technician II

As a Technical Maintenance Technician at CAE, you will be responsible for performing complex technical tasks including preventative and corrective maintenance work on simulators and associated systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on simulators and associated systems - Assisting in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators - Utilizing Maintenance Management System to track maintenance activities - Training technicians in basic skills - Completing all designated training activities - Performing preflight and post-flight checks on simulators - Running and evaluating QTG results - Assisting with refurbishment and hardware modifications - Providing customer service support - Performing logistics duties for parts received, repair, and testing/validation - Maintaining simulators through housekeeping functions - Performing administrative tasks To qualify for this role, you should have: - Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot to system level on multiple types of simulators - Proficiency in using all types of test equipment - Ability to perform Preventive Maintenance, preflight, and post-flight checks on any simulator - Ability to perform visual adjustment and set-ups on visual systems - Basic knowledge of MS-Office tools and suite Education Required: - 3-year technical degree or equivalent related training Experience Required: - 4-7 years of direct simulator experience CAE is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply.
