Executive – Digital IO, GroupM India Offshore Team, India (Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Coimbatore, Kolkata) GroupM is the world’s largest media investment company and is a part of WPP. We are currently looking for an Executive – Digital IO to support the seamless execution, monitoring, and reporting of paid media campaigns across digital channels. This role involves end-to-end campaign activation, coordination with internal stakeholders, and ongoing optimization. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of campaign trafficking, ad servers, verification tools, and media billing processes. As part of the largest media agency in India, you’ll have the opportunity to leverage the scale that comes with the job. You will become an integral part of this growing team and will be working with both internal teams and external parties to ensure campaign delivery objectives are met. REPORTING OF THE ROLE Manager / Associate Director – Ad Operations Key Responsibilities Campaign Activation Execution Create campaigns, packages, and placements in Prisma (media buying platform). Coordinate with offshore AdOps teams for DCM (Google Campaign Manager) creative trafficking. Distribute ad tags to publishers and ensure timely implementation. Track campaign launches, verify budgets, and obtain launch confirmations from partners. Set up campaigns on verification/brand safety platforms like IAS or Double Verify. Conduct post-launch QA by pulling delivery data from ad servers, verification tools, and partner platforms. In-Flight Campaign Management s Optimization Monitor campaign pacing and share updates with publishers and onshore teams. Tracks spendsagainst media plans, record changes and maintain documentation. Update and prepare performance reports (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly). Provide insights and key outcomes from A/B testing and reporting analysis. Share optimization recommendations based on dimensions such as geo, creative, device type, and cohorts. Track and evaluate campaign KPIs and document optimization outcomes. Conduct regular meetings with publishers to discuss campaign performance and updates. Liaise with internal market/agency DIO teams to communicate performance insights and actions. Handle direct partner outreach for resolving issues related to brand safety, viewability, IVT, or discrepancies (for both Programmatic Guaranteed and Direct IO deals). Media Billings Reconciliation Actualize media on Prisma post-monthly campaign cycle. Manage and map publisher invoices with corresponding delivery reports. Pull Prisma reports and redistribute budgets in case of discrepancies or variances. Key Skills Requirements: 1–3 years of experience in Ad Operations, Media Buying, or Campaign Management. Familiarity with Prisma, DCM (Google Campaign Manager), IAS, Double Verify, and other tech tools. Stronganalytical skills with attention to detail in reporting and data handling. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills for stakeholder coordination. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced digital environment. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Mass Communication, or a related field. Previous agency-side experience in paid media operations or digital trafficking. Understanding of digital media buying (IO and Programmatic) and performance metrics.
