Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Books of Accounts Management:

    Handle the day-to-day maintenance of the complete books of accounts, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and trial balance preparation.
  • Transaction Processing:

    Accurately record all financial transactions in

    Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

    , including sales, purchases, bank receipts, and payments.
  • Reconciliation & Reporting:

    Conduct frequent and accurate reconciliation of bank statements, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and internal ledgers.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:

    Manage the entire cycle for payables (invoice verification, processing) and receivables (invoicing, collection follow-up, and reconciliation).
  • Tax Compliance Support:

    Assist the senior team in compiling data and drafting calculations for

    GST, TDS, and basic Income Tax

    compliance and ensuring timely deposit of taxes.
  • Financial Analysis & Support:

    Utilize

    advanced Excel skills

    to prepare various schedules, ad-hoc reports, and basic financial analyses for management.
  • Audit Preparation:

    Organize and maintain all financial documentation meticulously to facilitate internal and external audits.
  • Adaptability:

    Demonstrate the ability to

    work effectively under tight deadlines and pressure

    , prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion.
  • Continuous Learning:

    Proactively seek out and implement new knowledge on accounting standards, tax laws, and system improvements as directed by senior management.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1.5 to 2 years

    of progressive, hands-on experience in a corporate accounting role.
  • Mandatory:

    Expert-level working knowledge of Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime

    , including transaction entry, reporting, and statutory module use.
  • Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

    (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, logical functions) for data analysis and financial reporting is essential.
  • Solid understanding of the fundamental concepts of maintaining a full set of

    books of accounts

    .
  • Foundational knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS).
  • Proven ability to work accurately under pressure

    and meet statutory/internal deadlines.
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow

    within the finance function.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail.
