Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced O2C Collections Specialist to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have 1-4 years of experience in O2C, collections, or accounts receivable.

Roles and Responsibility

Monitor and manage the accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collections.
Contact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue invoices.
Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and deductions.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Billing teams to resolve issues impacting collections.
Maintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communications.
Prepare aging reports and provide regular updates to management.
Support month-end closing activities and audit requirements.
Recommend accounts for escalation or write-off based on risk assessment and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 1 year of experience in O2C, collections, or accounts receivable.
Experience working with US processes and shifts is required.
Possess strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, HighRadius) and MS Excel is essential.
Demonstrate the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Exhibit attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Familiarity with credit risk assessment and cash application processes is a plus.
Immediate joining is preferred.
