Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Development:

  • Generate fresh event leads from the 

    local Pune & Maharashtra State market

    , targeting 

    corporate offices, trade associations, and social groups

    .
  • Use tools such as 

    LinkedIn, Justdial, Sulekha, CRM platforms (Zoho/HubSpot), Google Ads, and WhatsApp networking

     to generate quality leads.
  • Establish 

    tie-ups with local venues, banquet halls, hotels, and vendors

     to tap into direct inquiries.
  • Maintain and expand a database of key clients and prospects with detailed profiling.

Client Relationship & Market Handling:

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with 

    HR, Admin, and Marketing decision-makers

     in corporate firms.
  • Maintain 

    ongoing engagement and rapport with social groups

     and community leaders for recurring events.
  • Leverage 

    existing client relationships

     to generate referrals and upsell event services.
  • Understand the 

    local market dynamics, seasonal trends, and competitor activities

     to position offerings effectively.

MICE Event Support:

  • Work in collaboration with the 

    MICE Sales Team

     to explore and secure 

    event opportunities during corporate tours

    .
  • Follow up with MICE clients to convert travel bookings into on-tour event mandates.

Sales Planning & Reporting:

  • Maintain a structured 

    lead pipeline

     with weekly follow-ups and status updates.
  • Prepare and submit 

    weekly sales reports

    , projections, and feedback to the senior management.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets with high accountability.

Execution & Coordination:

  • Be 

    attentive as per the requirement for event execution,

     as per the client or production team's requirement.
  • Liaise with the 

    design, production, and vendor teams

     to ensure seamless event delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in 

    event sales, business development, or client servicing

     (event agency or MICE background preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of 

    event production, execution, vendor coordination, and costing

    .
  • Excellent 

    communication and interpersonal skills

      both verbal and written.
  • Experience with 

    CRM tools, Excel/Google Sheets, and basic reporting

     is essential.
  • Fluency in 

    English, Hindi, and Marathi

     is highly preferred.
  • Good local knowledge of 

    Pune geography, venues, and business hubs

    .
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and willing to take ownership of business development.
