Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented ETL and BI Tester to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of data pipelines and business intelligence reports. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in validating data transformations, data quality, and reporting dashboards across various BI tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and test cases.
Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
Conduct data validation and reconciliation between source and target systems.
Test BI reports and dashboards for data accuracy, layout, and performance.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to resolve issues.
Automate test cases where applicable using SQL or testing tools.
Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting.

Required Skills:

Strong SQL skills for data validation and test automation.
Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView).
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for test automation.
