Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare
cost estimates, quotations, and techno-commercial proposals
based on client inquiries and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings
, P&IDs, layouts, and technical documents to extract required data for estimation.
Perform
material take-offs
, quantity estimation, and
unit conversions (metric/imperial)
for accurate costing.
Coordinate with design, purchase, and production teams to gather input on pricing and feasibility.
Analyze
client requirements
and prepare optimal and competitive offers.
Support the
sales team
in client discussions, presentations, and proposal clarifications.
Maintain a database of supplier costs, material rates, and standard labor hours.
Prepare
technical & commercial comparisons
and assist management in final price approvals.

Skills & Requirements:

Strong knowledge of
AutoCAD / SolidWorks / or similar
drawing reading and interpretation.
Hands-on experience with
cost estimation, quotation preparation, and tendering
.
Proficient in
MS Excel
, formulas, and basic
engineering calculations
.
Good understanding of
mechanical components
, materials, and fabrication processes.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver within timelines.
