The Pipe Support Engineer is responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of pipe support systems in various projects, ensuring that all piping is adequately supported according to industry standards and project specifications. This role involves collaboration with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution and integrity of piping systems. Key Responsibilities: Design and Analysis: Develop detailed designs for pipe support systems, including hangers, anchors, and guides, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API). Perform stress analysis of piping systems to determine the appropriate type and placement of supports. Utilize software tools such as CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent for pipe stress analysis and support design. Project Coordination: Collaborate with piping, structural, and mechanical engineers to integrate support designs with overall plant design. Participate in project meetings to provide technical input and support project planning and execution. Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of pipe support materials. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed support drawings, specifications, and bills of materials. Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including design calculations, reports, and as-built drawings. Conduct technical reviews and approvals of vendor drawings and specifications. Field Support: Provide technical support during construction, including site inspections, troubleshooting, and resolution of design-related issues. Ensure that pipe supports are installed according to design specifications and project requirements. Participate in commissioning and start-up activities, ensuring that all pipe support systems are functional and meet performance criteria. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in pipe support engineering. Promote and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies within the team and on-site. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in pipe support engineering, preferably in the oil & gas, petrochemical, or power generation industries. Proficiency in pipe stress analysis software (e.g., CAESAR II, Auto PIPE). Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and construction methods related to pipe supports. Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., ASME B31.1, B31.3, API). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards. Estimating Engineer is expected to estimate the cost of a project after research and gather all the relevant details about the project. An estimating engineer shall help the company in giving high level services by ensuring right pricing to customer for securing future business and customer retention. Location: Halol, Gujarat (Near Vadodara, Gujarat) Designation: Engineer / Senior Engineer - Estimation Department Responsibilities: To actively participate in the management of various tenders / inquires. Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires during vendor registration and at any time. Maintain and update enquiry register regularly. Receive and review the enquiry with check list and supporting documents like MTO, Project specification etc., and find for missing data if any. Interact with Sales/ Client team to understand all specifications of the project. Preparation of detailed estimation sheet highlighting all possible Costs. Send request to LISEGA SE / Design team for special drawings based on requirement. Check on Raw material availability, cost and lead time from Purchase team. Floating Enquiries to sub-suppliers / Manufacturers. Compare and negotiate with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product. Discuss with Operations team for Manufacturing Possibilities, associated costs and lead time. Preparing estimation and arrive the final cost for the specified project. Discuss the Estimated price and share risk assessment with Sales Head for final approval. Prepare GAD, QAP etc and send to client for approval. Prepare ORF and release to OL team for order processing. Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. If required, travel to client place and arrange a meeting with client and clarify all pending points. Coordinate with all other departments for execution and dispatch of the goods in correct time without any delay/discrepancies. Qualifications: Education: B.E. Mechanical / Industrial / Production or any other equivalent Experience: Minimum 6-12 Years in any manufacturing or fabrication industry (Estimation experience is a must). Additional skills required: Should know how to use Excel and AutoCAD efficiently. Understanding of engineering drawings. Should be able to work on government portals and software. An estimating engineer helps the company in giving high level services and ensures right pricing to the customer for securing future business and customer retention. Responsibilities To actively participate in the management of various tenders / inquires. Making Pre-Qualification documents, both standards as well project specific questionnaires during vendor registration or at any time. Follow the checklist for Enquires, PO available in Server. Maintaining and update enquiry register regularly. Receive and review the enquiry with check list and supporting documents like MTO, Project specification etc., and find for missing data if any. Send request to client / sales team for getting the missing data. Propose alternatives to the Customer through Sales team / client in order to optimize the offerings to the Customer. Preparation of detailed estimation sheet highlighting all possible Costs. Send request to LISEGA SE / Design team for special drawings based on requirement. Check on Raw material availability, cost and lead time from Purchase team. Floating Enquiries to sub-suppliers / Manufacturers. Comparison Studies based on suppliers Quotations. Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of product. Discuss with Operations team for Manufacturing Possibilities, associated costs and lead time. To share and discuss with Operations team on delivery requirement from Customer. Upon receipt of all the above details, start preparing estimation and arrive the final cost for the specified project. Discuss the Estimated price and share risk assessment with Sales Head for final approval. If any comments, revise the estimation and resend for approval. Upon receipt of approval, prepare the final quote and submit to client. Continuously look for avenues to reduce the cost to the Customer. Upon receipt of PO, Prepare GAD, QAP etc and send to client for approval. Upon receipt of approval from client, prepare ORF and release to OL team for order processing. Follow up with client for updates and pending details until final clearance received. Maintaining ISO documentation, Record Keeping, Suppliers/Manufacturers Data Bank records. If required, travel to client place and arrange a meeting with client and clarify all pending points.
