Job Description

As an ESG Lead at Zafin, you will be responsible for various tasks related to Environmental, Social, and Governance aspects. Your key responsibilities will include: - Preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly sustainability reports - Execution of the ESG strategy and roadmap - Conducting materiality assessments and peer benchmarking - Engaging in stakeholder activities - Preparing internal and external reports using ESG risk reporting frameworks like SASB, GRI, SFDR, etc. - Advising and supporting the implementation of new/mandatory ESG regulations and guidelines - Ensuring regulatory compliance globally - Identifying opportunities to embed sustainability/ESG principles internally - Preparing ESG-related recommendations, insights, reports, and action plans - Supporting Sales/Bid teams in responding to RFI/RFPs and client pitches from an ESG perspective - Collaborating with cross-functional teams globally - Managing KPI metrics related to ESG - Supporting regional and global ESG committee meetings - Managing relationships with UNGC and other CSR/NGO/Multilateral agencies - Representing/participating in ESG/sustainability forums To succeed in this role, you will need: - Experience in climate change, environment, or sustainability areas - Relevant Masters/bachelors degree (e.g., environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, MBA with sustainability focus) - Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, frameworks, and hands-on experience in reporting sustainability initiatives - Technical knowledge in Climate Change, ESG, and decarbonization - Understanding of sustainability issues, especially in technology/banking/FS sectors - Ability to simplify complex concepts and frameworks for internal stakeholders - Development of quantitative/qualitative models for reporting - Hands-on experience in carbon footprint analysis, GHG assessment, climate risk - Strong communication skills, both written and oral - Program/project management skills in complex multi-regional setups - Networking and influencing skills at a leadership level - Curiosity, continuous learning, and passion for sustainability and ESG - Global ESG experience is a plus The annual budget for this role is between 30 lacs to 35 lacs per annum.,
