Job description Job Title Deputy Manger Job Location Noida Job Summary Sambodhi is seeking a dynamic and field-oriented professional to support the planning and implementation of programs under the Sambodhi Capacity and Learning Institute (SCLI). These programs include large-scale initiatives targeting grassroots workers across India. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in field coordination, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement, particularly with government bodies, self-help groups (SHGs), training partners, and community-based organizations. This role is well-suited for professionals passionate about local empowerment, inclusive development, and hands-on implementation. The selected candidate will also contribute to proposal development and support the day-to-day operations of SCLI. Essential Functions The deputy manager will perform following key functions: 1. Field Implementation & Coordination Support day-to-day implementation of capacity-building activities across project locations. Supervise local coordinators and support participant mobilization. Oversee training logistics, trainer support, and material distribution. Troubleshoot on-ground challenges related to logistics, attendance, and engagement. 2. Capacity Building & Training Support Support contextualization of training curricula based on audience needs and program goals. Coordinate with master trainers to ensure high-quality, learner-centric delivery. Monitor sessions and provide real-time feedback for continuous improvement. 3. Project Monitoring & Documentation Track training outputs and outcomes in coordination with the team. Prepare timely reports, field updates, and implementation documentation. Essential Qualification Master’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Public Policy, Rural Management, or related disciplines from a reputed institution. 3–4 years of relevant experience in field implementation, capacity-building preferably in large-scale capacity building or skill development projects in different contexts. Prior experience working with government stakeholders, SHGs, civil society organizations, or training partners. Familiarity with community mobilization, training delivery, and operational coordination in development settings. Exposure to digital inclusion initiatives, tech-enabled learning, or foundational AI/digital literacy programs is an added advantage. Personal Competencies Deep understanding of rural skilling ecosystems and community-level training dynamics. Strong coordination and organisational skills to manage multi-site training operations. Excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills to work in fluid and low-resource contexts. Proven ability to manage partner relationships and represent the programme in institutional settings.
