As an ESG Lead at Zafin, you will be responsible for various aspects of Environmental, Social, and Governance initiatives. Your role will involve preparing annual, quarterly, and monthly sustainability reports, executing the ESG strategy, conducting materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, and engaging stakeholders. You will also be involved in internal and external reporting, focusing on ESG risk reporting frameworks such as SASB, GRI, and SFDR, as well as carbon emission reporting. Your duties will include advising on and supporting the implementation of new ESG regulations, ensuring global regulatory compliance, and driving sustainability and ESG principles internally. You will prepare ESG recommendations, insights, and action plans, support sales and bid teams from an ESG perspective, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop organizational policies aligned with ESG goals. Furthermore, you will be responsible for managing KPI metrics related to ESG, participating in ESG committee meetings, and handling relationships with various sustainability-related agencies. Your role may also involve representing Zafin in ESG forums and sustainability initiatives. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in climate change, environment, or sustainability, preferably with consulting firms, financial institutions, or multilateral agencies. A relevant master's or bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, economics, quantitative finance, or an MBA with a sustainability focus is desirable. You must possess a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and sustainability reporting. Technical knowledge in Climate Change, ESG, and decarbonization is essential, along with expertise in sustainability issues within the technology, banking, or financial services sectors. Strong communication skills, project management abilities, and the capacity to influence stakeholders at a leadership level are also crucial for this role. Additionally, a self-driven, continuous learning mindset and a passion for sustainability and ESG initiatives will contribute to your success in this position. Global ESG experience will be considered advantageous for this role.,
