Job Description

The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive and compliant workplace by managing employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and effectively addressing disciplinary cases. This position collaborates with various departments to enhance employee performance and maintain a harmonious work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Draft and vet employee-related documents, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans, to ensure legal compliance. - Conduct thorough investigations of employee grievances and disciplinary cases, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions. - Guide management on legal and compliance matters related to employee relations, ensuring adherence to company policies and labor laws. - Coordinate with the Legal and Compliance departments to manage termination cases and respond to legal notices effectively. - Monitor and analyze employee performance metrics to identify trends and recommend improvements to management. - Serve as a trusted resource for employees, providing guidance and assistance in resolving workplace conflicts and enhancing overall morale. Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. - Proven experience in employee relations, labor laws, or HR compliance, preferably in a corporate environment. - Strong understanding of disciplinary processes, performance management, and workplace conflict resolution. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases and projects concurrently. - Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software tools for record-keeping and reporting. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity in all employee relations matters. Preferred Qualifications: - Masters degree in Human Resources or a related field. - Certification in HR (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) would be an advantage. - Experience with conflict resolution and crisis management techniques. - Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and emerging trends in employee relations.,
