Job Summary
This role will help develop and manage the implementation of new templates, tools, and streamlined processes to support key stakeholders, such as HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Job Responsibility
- Manage complex employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance concerns across the APAC region.
- Conduct thorough, fair, and confidential workplace investigations in response to complaints or concerns regarding harassment, discrimination, policy violations, or other misconduct.
- Partner with HRBPs, legal counsel, and senior leadership to ensure ER strategies align with organizational goals and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Analyze ER trends and metrics to develop proactive solutions, training, and policies that promote a healthy and respectful workplace culture.
- Develop and deliver training programs for People Managers / employees / HRBPs on ER-related topics (e.g., anti-harassment, respectful workplace, conflict resolution).
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations matters and ensure consistent application of policies and procedures.
- Support change management efforts and organizational initiatives impacting employees.
- Ensure compliance with relevant local labor laws, workplace regulations, and internal policies.
- This position may require occasional travel.
Qualifications
- Demonstrates substantial previous experience in independently managing end to end complex ER cases.
- In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices across APAC.
- Capable of providing clear, tactical advice to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
- Strong expertise in managing conflict resolution and investigations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations.
- Excellent collaboration skills, experienced in working closely with HRBP and legal teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in HR or related field.
- Professional certifications.
- Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization.
- Experience in a matrixed organisation.
