Job Summary
This role will help develop and manage the implementation of new templates, tools, and streamlined processes to support key stakeholders, such as HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and Legal, Risk and Compliance.
Job Responsibility
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations (ER) casesacross the APAC region, including performance issues, misconduct, behavioral concerns, interpersonal conflict, and formal grievances, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
- Conduct thorough, confidential, and impartial investigationsrelated to complaints such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and policy violationsensuring procedural fairness and timely resolution.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and escalation pointfor employees and managers, supporting grievance resolution, workplace disputes, and sensitive conversations with empathy, discretion, and professionalism.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Compliance, and Senior Leadersto deliver ER strategies that balance business goals with employee experience, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global standards.
- Analyze ER trends, case data, and risk areas, using insights to shape proactive interventions, recommend policy updates, and reduce potential liabilities.
- Design and deliver impactful training programsfor managers, employees, and HR teams on ER-related topics such as conflict resolution, grievance handling, respectful workplace practices, and anti-harassment.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentationof ER cases and investigations in accordance with legal and company standards, supporting audit readiness and case consistency.
- Champion a positive workplace culture, supporting initiatives that promote employee engagement, inclusion, psychological safety, and values-based leadership.
- Support organizational change efforts(e.g., restructuring, leadership transitions, culture transformation) by providing ER guidance and managing employee impacts effectively.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, regulations, and internal policiesacross multiple APAC markets, staying informed of legal changes and best practices.
- Lead or support special ER projectssuch as policy reviews, case management system implementation, employee engagement action plans, or risk mitigation strategies.
 
Note: This role may require occasional travel across the region.
Qualifications
-  Demonstrates substantial previous experience in independently managing end to end complex ER cases. 
-  In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices across APAC. 
-  Capable of providing clear, tactical advice to resolve issues swiftly and effectively. 
-  Strong expertise in managing conflict resolution and investigations. 
-  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills. 
-  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
-  Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations. 
-  Excellent collaboration skills, experienced in working closely with HRBP and legal teams. 
 
Preferred Qualifications
-  Bachelor or Master's degree in HR or related field. 
-  Professional certifications. 
-  Experience in a global or multi-jurisdictional organization. 
-  Experience in a matrixed organisation.
