We are seeking a skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer to join our dynamic and fast-growing company and R7D team in Vadodara, Gujarat, India.

Responsibilities

System Design & Development:

  • Architect and develop advanced electronic systems for wireless power transfer, integrating smart connectivity and IoT capabilities.
  • Design detailed electronic circuits, including schematic capture and multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer.


Prototyping & Testing:

  • Lead the prototyping, assembly, and testing of custom PCBs for both transmitter and receiver WPT systems.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and scripts for production-line validation using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other test equipment.


Hardware Optimization & Production:

  • Optimize BOM management and collaborate with PCB manufacturers, component vendors, and contract manufacturers to ensure scalable production.
  • Validate PCB assembly through rigorous DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews.


Performance & Compliance:

  • Implement real-time power control and thermal management strategies for medium-to-high power systems (0–2kW).
  • Ensure EMI/EMC compliance, signal integrity, and high-efficiency power delivery.
  • Integrate sensors (temperature, current, etc.) and safety mechanisms for overheat and overcurrent protection.


Collaboration & Troubleshooting:

  • Work closely with firmware engineers to achieve seamless hardware-firmware integration.
  • Analyze electrical schematics to identify potential failure modes and develop robust mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot issues in power electronics, microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, STM32), and BLE modules to maintain system reliability.


Qualifications


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in embedded hardware design, PCB development, and electronic circuit prototyping—preferably within the consumer electronics market.
  • Demonstrated experience in taking products from the prototype stage to mass manufacturing, including DFM/DFA practices.


Technical Expertise:

  • Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout design using CAD tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Deep understanding of power electronics, wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, and thermal management solutions.
  • Experience programming and integrating microcontrollers (e.g., ESP32, STM32, Renesas, NXP) with electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with high-frequency PCB design, EMI/EMC standards, and safety certifications (UL, IEC, CE).


Analytical & Collaborative Skills:

  • Strong circuit debugging and troubleshooting skills, with hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and power analyzers.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of collaborating effectively in cross-functional, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to work in a fast-paced, innovative start-up environment.
