Job Description

This role requires a data-driven marketer with hands-on experience in email automation, segmentation, analytics, HTML template editing, and end-to-end campaign execution. You will manage the entire customer lifecycle through targeted Klaviyo flows and high-performing campaigns that directly impact revenue, engagement, and retention.


Key Responsibilities


Email Campaign Management

  • Build and deploy promotional, lifecycle, and transactional campaigns.
  • Create mobile-first, high-converting email templates in collaboration with content/design teams.
  • Use UTM tracking and ensure accurate GA4 attribution.

Marketing Automation (Klaviyo)

  • Set up and optimize advanced flows, including: Welcome Series (multi-step), Abandoned Cart & Checkout Abandonment, Browse Abandonment, Post-Purchase (First-Time & Returning Customers), Win-back & Reactivation, Refill/Replenishment, Product Review & UGC Collection, Cross-sell / Upsell
  • Use event triggers (Viewed Product, Added to Cart, Started Checkout, Placed Order).
  • Apply conditional splits, exclusions, delay logic, and dynamic content blocks.
  • Build segment-triggered automation using RFM, engagement, and purchase behavior.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track OR, CTR, CVR, revenue, bounces & unsubscribes.
  • Use Klaviyo analytics, cohort reports, and GA4 for performance insights.
  • Identify flow drop-offs and optimize flow timing and branching.

A/B Testing & Optimisation

  • Test subject lines, send times, CTAs, layouts, and incentive variations.
  • Run holdout groups for incremental lift measurement.
  • Iterate based on data-driven insights.

Segmentation & Personalization

  • Create behavioral, demographic, RFM-based and affinity-based segments.
  • Use dynamic product recommendations and conditional content.

List Management & Growth

  • Maintain list hygiene: suppress unengaged users, manage bounces/complaints.
  • Monitor deliverability and sender reputation.
  • Improve acquisition via optimised forms/pop-ups (GDPR-compliant).


Qualification


  • 2–4 years of hands-on email marketing experience in eCommerce/D2C brands.
  • Strong Klaviyo expertise — automation flows, segmentation, event triggers, analytics, template building.
  • Experience with lifecycle automation: welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, etc.
  • Ability to build behavioral & RFM-based segments, dynamic content blocks, and personalised workflows.
  • Strong understanding of GA4, UTM structures, attribution models, and revenue reporting.
  • Skilled in A/B testing (subject lines, send time, creatives, incentives).
  • Strong copywriting, proofreading, and campaign QA skills.
  • Familiarity with deliverability best practices, list hygiene, and sender reputation management.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments with quick decision-making and tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with SMS/WhatsApp automation.
  • Exposure to UK/EU eCommerce markets.
