Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Source, qualify and close new business opportunities for: turnkey electrical projects, industrial/commercial electrical infra work, and electrical maintenance contracts (including AMCs, transformer & breaker services etc).
  • Develop and execute territory & vertical sales plans (targets, account lists, pipeline).
  • Build & maintain relationships with contractors, project consultants, facility managers, exhibition organisers, MEP teams and procurement leads.
  • Prepare technical-commercial proposals, BOQs, scope documents and accurate cost estimates in coordination with engineering and operations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations, finalize contract terms (scope, warranty, payment milestones) and secure PO/LOI.
  • Manage handover to operations: ensure smooth project kickoff, site mobilization and client communication.
  • Track and report pipeline, weekly/monthly sales forecasts and win/loss analysis.
  • Represent GEPL at industry events, exhibitions and client meetings; support liaisoning efforts where required.
  • Drive renewals and upsell for maintenance/AMC contracts; ensure timely invoicing and follow-up on collections.
  • Technical & Regulatory Liaisoning
  • Coordinate with DISCOMs, electrical inspectors, and statutory bodies for approvals and compliance.
  • Stay updated on electrical regulations, safety standards, and licensing requirements.
  • Facilitate documentation and approvals for high voltage and low voltage installations.

Required qualifications & experience:

  • 4–10+ years of B2B business development / sales experience — preferably in electrical contracting, E&M, MEP, industrial electrical services, or EPC/turnkey segments.
  • Proven track record of winning projects in electrical infra, turnkey projects or maintenance & AMC services.
  • Strong commercial acumen — proposal preparation, BOQ understanding, pricing and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working independently, conducting site visits, and travelling across Mumbai / Maharashtra as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Electrical, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
