Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Department : Electrical Maintenance/Engineering Location : Khopoli , Raigad -Maharashtra Reports To : Maintenance Manager/Engineering Head Employment Type : Full-Time/Permanent Job Summary : We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical) with expertise in PLC, SCADA, CREN, and Panels . The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment. This role is crucial for maintaining uptime and ensuring safety in all electrical processes and equipment. Key Responsibilities : Preventive & Corrective Maintenance : Carry out regular preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, including panels, motors, and control systems. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring optimal performance. PLC & SCADA Systems : Program, troubleshoot, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Monitor and adjust system settings to ensure continuous operation and efficiency. Control & Relay Panels : Inspect, maintain, and upgrade Control and Relay Panels (CREN) to ensure electrical systems operate safely and reliably. Design and implement panel modifications or upgrades as required. System Integration & Commissioning : Support the integration of electrical systems with other automation platforms. Assist with commissioning and installation of new electrical systems or upgrades. Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and system performance. Prepare reports for management on system health and potential improvements. Compliance & Safety : Ensure that all electrical systems and maintenance activities comply with safety standards and local regulations. Implement safety practices to prevent electrical hazards in the workplace. Required Qualifications : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering . Experience :5-10 years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting. Hands-on experience with PLC , SCADA , CREN , and electrical panels . Technical Skills : Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.). Expertise in SCADA systems (monitoring and control). Experience with control and relay panel maintenance. Familiarity with electrical schematic diagrams and wiring. Soft Skills : Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Time management and ability to prioritize tasks. Preferred Qualifications : Certifications in PLC programming, SCADA systems, or electrical panel design. Experience with additional automation systems and industrial sensors.
