Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with expertise in power generation, transmission systems, and erection/installation of electrical infrastructure. The role involves planning, designing, supervising, and ensuring safe and efficient execution of electrical power projects, including generation plants, substations, transmission lines, and distribution systems. Key Responsibilities: Design & Planning Develop electrical designs and layouts for power generation plants, transmission systems, and substations. Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and protection coordination studies. Prepare technical specifications, BOQs, and project cost estimations. Erection & Commissioning Supervise erection, installation, and commissioning of power generation units, transformers, switchgear, overhead transmission lines, underground cables, and related systems. Ensure compliance with technical standards, safety codes, and project timelines. Conduct testing and quality checks for electrical equipment and systems. Operations & Maintenance Support operations team in resolving electrical faults and ensuring system reliability. Implement preventive and corrective maintenance strategies. Ensure minimal downtime and efficient energy delivery. Project Execution & Coordination Work closely with civil, mechanical, and instrumentation teams for integrated project execution. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities for approvals and clearances. Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and present updates to management. Health, Safety & Compliance Adhere to national and international electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, IS, etc.). Ensure safe working practices during erection and commissioning activities. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
