Job Responsibilities
The Specialist in the
EHS&S Data Management & Analytics
team plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and strategic utilization of EHS&S data. This position requires a strong foundation in
Data Analysis, SQL and Excel
, as well as a deep understanding of EHS&S function. The analyst will be responsible for managing large datasets, developing actionable insights, and supporting the business strategies through advanced analytics.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret safety, health and environmental data using data science techniques such as predictive modeling, time series modeling, and forecasting.
- Design and maintain dashboards to monitor safety performance, and present data-driven insights to management and other stakeholders.
- Develop visualizations of data using Excel, Power-BI, and other tools to clearly present findings and insights to management and other stakeholders.
- Analyze safety data, identify trends, and provide insights to support continuous improvement in the organization's safety performance.
- Use programming languages like Python and R to wrangle manipulate data, implement model, and evaluate performance of model.
- Develop and maintain databases using SQL Server.
- Develop presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulations.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, new data analytics techniques, and regulations that affect the company's safety, health and environmental policies.
- Support the development of safety programs and initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that safety data is accurate and up to date

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in data science, Statistics or related fields.
- At least 4+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on safety data.
- Strong skills in data science, including predictive modeling, time series modeling, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in data visualization using Excel, Power-BI, and other tools.
- Experience in programming languages using Python and R.
- Experience in working with SQL Server and developing databases.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of SharePoint beginner level is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Skills For Success
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools for data visualization.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or S4 HANA related to EHS&S.
- Exposure to machine learning or advanced statistical methods is a plus.
- Experience working in an enterprise-level EHS&S environment.
- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, automation, and modeling.
