Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Editor in Chief based in New Delhi. The Editor in Chief will oversee all editorial operations, ensuring consistent content quality across platforms. Responsibilities will include leading the editorial team, defining content strategies, reviewing and approving articles, and ensuring adherence to journalistic ethics. Additionally, the role involves engaging with key stakeholders and staying attuned to audience needs to maintain relevance and credibility.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to mentor and inspire editorial staff.
• Expertise in content strategy, content curation, and content editing.
• Proficiency in writing, proofreading, and media editing.
• Strong understanding of journalistic ethics, fact-checking, and audience engagement.
• Strategic vision for digital transitions and multimedia storytelling is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in a senior editorial role, preferably in a reputable media organization.
• Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and strong decision-making abilities.
